Columbia firefighter arrested, charged with DUI

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Columbia firefighter was arrested and charged for a DUI on Monday, October 14.

The fire department says they have placed Firefighter Jacob Sloan on an investigatory suspension following his arrest.

Sloan, who’s been with the department since last year was arrested by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

This incident remains under investigation.
