$50,000 Powerball with Double Play ticket sold in Irmo

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– There is a lucky winner in the Palmetto State after Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, says SC Lottery officials.

Since the player added Double Play to their Powerball ticket, they won $50,000.

Lottery players should check their tickets if they played at the Food Lion store #1441 at 7241 Broad River Road in Irmo for Wednesday night’s Double Play drawing (29 – 35 – 41 – 53 – 68 and PB: 9) held after the regular Powerball drawing.

Lottery officials say the Double Play ticket matched four of the first five ball numbers drawn and the red Powerball number at odds of 1 in 913,129.

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $437 million.
