Flooding cleared on I-26 West at Exit 139

(Courtesy: SCDOT) Flooding blocked all lanes this morning on I-26 West at Exit 139/Burke Road.

ST. MATTHEWS, S.C. (WOLO) – SC Department of Transportation says the flooded roadways on I-26 West at Exit 139/Burke Road have been cleared.

Highway Patrol says traffic was backed up at that exit early this morning.

As of 8 a.m., troopers say a disabled vehicle that was blocking the right lane has been cleared.

Authorities urge you that if you see a flooded roadway, remember to turn around and don’t drown.
