Gas price drop slows

(CNN)– The drop in gas prices has slowed down due to a rare November hurricane in the gulf.

According to the American Automobile Association, the national average for a gallon of gas only fell by 3 cents since last week, dropping to $3.10.

In South Carolina, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.82.

AAA spokesperson says there is often a hold on gas prices with a hurricane in the gulf, which can threaten oil production and refining.
