SCDOT to permanently close I-26 westbound off-ramp to Bush River Road

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will permanently close the westbound I-26 off-ramp to Bush River Road.

The closure will happen at 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 10.

Access to Bush River Road from westbound I-26 will be available through the expanded Colonial Life Boulevard and I-126 Interchange.

SCDOT says this is the third and final step to permanently change the traffic pattern on Bush River Road to allow for future improvements to the I-26/I-20/I-126 interchange.

Exiting to Bush River Road from I-26 westbound:

Drivers traveling from I-26 westbound to Bush River Road will use the new Colonial Life Boulevard exit from the right lane on I-126 westbound just past St. Andrews Road.
