Annual Law Enforcement memorial honors three new officers lost in line of duty

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — Law officers who served and died in the line of duty were honored Friday night. The 19th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial took place at the Law Enforcement Monument on the Statehouse grounds.

This year, three officers were added to the memorial who died in 2023.
The total number of South Carolina Officers honored on the monument now stands at 505.
