Sumter woman accused of shooting at parked car

Sumter, S.C. (WOLO)– Police say a Sumter woman was charged after firing shots into a parked car.

Investigators say they responded to Marilyn Ave. around 7:30 Sunday evening.

Officials say two people were in the car at the time, no injuries were reported.

Police say the shooter, Christina Hodge, 39, was arrested later at her home on Dibert St.

She is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Police say the shooting was related to a domestic incident.
