‘Brook Farms’ voluntarily recalls nearly 11K organic eggs

(CNN) — We have a recall to pass along.
New York-based handsome Brook Farms is voluntarily recalling nearly eleven-thousand of its organic eggs.

The 24 count packages of organic pasture raised eggs were sold under the kirkland signature brand.

The recall is due to a potential risk of salmonella contamination.
the eggs were distributed to 25 Costco stores in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee beginning on November 22.

They have a best use date of January 6,  So far, there are no reports of anyone getting sick.
