RCSD: Children found after being taken from DSS office by mother

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says two children who were taken from a DSS facility has been found and is in good health.
Deputies say on Thanksgiving night, Thursday, Nov. 28, Destinee Dinkins took her children Dashon Jacobs and Da’Nise Jacobs from a DSS facility around 6 p.m.
Dinkins left the building with the children in a white Kia Optima.
Investigators did believe that she was a danger to the children and that she is their biological mother who does not have custodial rights.
RCSD says the two children were located in good health by RCSD’s Fugitive Task Force early Friday morning, Nov. 29.
