Wikipedia shares most popular pages of 2024

(CNN)– Internet users were interested in who died this year, according to Wikipedia searches.

The Wiki-Media Foundation which operates the crowdsourced encyclopedia, says a list of deaths in 2024 was the most visited page this year.

It garnered more than 44 million views.

Wikipedia pages about Vice President Kamala Harris and the 2024 U.S. president election ranks 2nd and 3rd on the list.
