Railway Repaired after Train Wreck

LUGOFF, SC (WOLO) – Crews have repaired a stretch of railway after a train wreck last weekend.

Monday (8/7), officials said all cars have been removed from the track.

Authorities believe a bulldozer parked near the track in Kershaw County early Saturday caused the derailment.

Diesel fuel spilled from the train but we’re told cleanup crews contained it.

There were no injuries reported.
