RCSD Seeking Two Suspects After Armed Robbery

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO)- Richland County Deputies are looking for two suspects wanted for armed robbery and malicious injury to property.

The incident happened Tuesday around 12:30pm on I-20 and Monticello  Road.

Deputies say the victim’s vehicle broke down and while he was waiting on his father to come assist, two unknown males approached.  One of the suspects had an assault rifle while the other was armed with a handgun. The suspects stole the victim’s cell phone and wallet containing cash, according to deputies.

The Sheriff said that the suspects threatened to shoot the victim, and that’s when he ran across the street and heard shots being fired. When the suspects fled the area, the victim returned to his vehicle and found that it had bullet holes in it.

One of the suspects is described as a light skinned black male, with a small beard, stocky build and a tattoo on the right side of his neck that says RED LIPS.
