Cowboys sign former Newberry wide receiver

DALLAS, TX (WOLO) — The Cowboys announced Wednesday the signing of former Newberry wideout Corey Washington.

Washington was an undrafted free agent in 2014, but then signed with the cardinals for a brief period. He was later picked up by the Giants, where he spent a year.

He went on to play for the Redskins, Lions Falcons, Bills and Chiefs just in the last two years.

Washington caught five passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in 14 games with the Giants in 2014.
