One dead in Orangeburg County after Saturday night single-vehicle crash: SCHP

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — One person is dead after a fatal collision in Orangeburg County Saturday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred on Redmond Mill Road near Magenta Drive, about 4 miles east of North, SC. Around 7:05pm, a sedan travelling west on Redmond Mill Road drove off of the left side of the road and struck a tree.

The driver of the sedan was the sole occupant of the vehicle and did die as a result of the collision.
