COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) –

Nearly 3 weeks after she was reported missing, a Columbia teen is now back at home safe and sound.

Richland County Deputies say Re’nean Tavasha Mason reached out to her mother Tuesday. The mother then picked up her daughter who was safe upon arrival.

No further details were given from the missing teen about her disappearance or what led up to it.

Mason’s family reported Re’nean missing July 31, after they said they were concerned for her safety.

Investigators continue to follow up on the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
