Custom Signs Placed at Entry Points into Richland County
Richland County is welcoming thousands of visitors to the area for the solar eclipse with specially made road signs
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County is welcoming thousands of visitors to the area for the solar eclipse with specially made road signs.
The placards, affixed to county entry point signs, read, “Home of the Longest Total Solar Eclipse on the East Coast”, with the social media hashtag, #RCtotaleclipse.
Earlier this week, Richland County Public Works crews installed one of eight welcome signs on State Road SC-12 at the start of Percival Road, adjacent to Fort Jackson. The other seven signs can be found here:

- U.S. 378/U.S. 76 Garners Ferry Road (Bridge)
