Clemson’s coaches call out their defense following scrimmage

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) – Following the Tigers’ second closed scrimmage of fall camp, head coach Dabo Swinney and defensive cordinator Brent Venables spoke about needing to see more out of their defense with just two weeks remaining until the start of the new season.

While Swinney said the offense was able to find success throughout the day, he added that he’s “never happy when you walk off these practice fields if you feel like one side’s really won the day.”

The defending national champs take the field on September 2, hosting Kent State.
