Orangeburg County deputies arrested 2 people in connection with Monday night carjacking
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies in Orangeburg County say two people are in custody in connection with a carjacking on Monday night.
Investigators said Jayshawn Tilley and Wilbert Moody are both facing several changes in connection with the incident.
Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office deputies say they responded to a convenience store on North Road around 6:40 p.m. on Monday night, December 30.
The victim said she was putting gas in her car when her car was stolen at gunpoint.
Authorities say Tilley was arrested within the hour, and Moody was arrested a short time later.
Both face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
