1 person killed, another injured after fatal Orangeburg County collision

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)–  One person was killed and another was injured after a fatal collision in Orangeburg County on Thursday.

Troops with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say it happened Thursday night, Jan. 2, on Tee Tee Road just before 8 p.m.

Officials say the driver was traveling south when the vehicle hit a fence, and a utility pole before overturning.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and a passenger was taken to a hospital.
