Midsummer Festival in Lexington County

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) –

Summer may be over for all you kids now back in school, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to be.

The 2017 Midsummer Festival is tomorrow Friday, August 25.

The event will have a local stage featuring free performances from 3 Midlands bands: Prettier than Matt, The Post-Timey String Band, and Slim Pickens.

It will also feature half a dozen food trucks from around South Carolina and an 8:00 p.m. headliner concert with Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors.

This is from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. Friday night at Lexington’s brand new Icehouse Amphitheater located on 107 West Main Street.

Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
