Car Crashes into Columbia Home, Suspect Charged

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia police say a man is charged with Criminal Domestic Violence after a car crashed into a home off of North Main St.

Investigators say Carlos Brown was a passenger in the car when he grabbed the wheel causing it to slam into a home on Duke St.

According to police, Brown had been in an altercation with the driver prior to the crash.

Police say a 17 year old sleeping in the house at the time was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
