Richland County responds to Zillow lawsuit

 

 

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County officials say the county is going to court to protect homeowner’s personal information.

According to a county spokesperson, real-estate website Zillow has filed a lawsuit in a Richland County court to compel the county to release personal information about property owners who have opted out of having their details shared online.

The company was reached out to for comment, but has not yet responded.
