2 men arrested for drug trafficking, say Sumter Co. deputies

 

 

 

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Two men have been arrested in connection with drug trafficking, say Sumter County deputies.

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Randolph Leron Lemon, and 25-year-old Marquell Ikeem Stevens were arrested on Monday, Jan. 13, for drug charges.

On Monday afternoon, the sheriff’s office was conducting a safety license checkpoint at the intersection of Pack Road and Marley Court which led to deputies finding out the vehicle both Lemon and Stevens were in, had crack cocaine, cocaine, and fentanyl.

Deputies also learned that Steven’s license was suspended (fourth offense) and had the status of habitual offender.

In addition to the drug charges, he was also arrested for driving under suspension.

Both Lemon and Stevens were charged with trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine, and distribution, sell, purchase, manufacture crack cocaine.

 They were both taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and are awaiting a bond hearing.
