Deputies Make Arrests in Attempted Murder Case

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A 21-year-old man accused of terrorizing two women, who had just left a Richland County bank, is charged.
Last month, the sheriff’s department says Todd Cofield Junior and an unidentified suspect pointed a gun at the victims in the 7400 block of Fairfield Road and demanded money.
They then allegedly fired shots at the women.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Deputies later determined Carlton Gregory helped Cofield and the other suspect dispose of their getaway car.
Additional arrests are pending.
