Gamecock Frenzy Hits Capitol City

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., —

It’s finally time for some football and it couldn’t have come sooner for thousands of fans who say they have been eagerly anticipating the start to a new season.

80 thousand people attended the Williams Brice Stadium for a sold out match up between USC Gamecocks and UNC Tarheels. Bumper to bumper traffic made it obvious.

Those unable to attend the sold out game, decided to enjoy a different vantage point at local sports bars around town.
