WH Deletes Irma Related Flooding Tweet

Washington, DC (WOLO) — The White House social media Director tweeted, then deleted, inaccurate video of flooding at Miami International Airport.

Dan Scavino tweeted: “sharing Hurricane Irma on social media with president trump and vice president pence hourly. He added a video of what was suppose to be Miami Airport covered in water.

MIA later responded to the post saying: “This video is not from Miami International Airport.”
Scavino, in turn, acknowledged the mistake and replied it was among hundreds of videos and pictures he’s receiving of Irma from the public, and in trying to notify everyone, he shared it.
