Woman Shot Inside Richland County Home

Columbia, SC ( WOLO) — A woman is recovering after authorities say she was shot as she sat inside her home Wednesday night. Richland County Deputies say several shots were fired into the home in the 1 hundred block of Jasmine Place Drive around midnight.

At least one of the bullets struck one of the occupants of the home in the lower body. No word on her condition as of Thursday morning.

Officials are asking anyone who may have been in the area that saw or heard anything to call Crimestoppers at 1888 -CRIME-SC.
