Police: Substitute Teacher Arrested in Lexington for Inappropriate Contact with Charlotte 16-year-old
MINT HILL, NC (WCCB, WOLO) — Police have charged a 31-year-old substitute at Rocky River High School with taking indecent liberties with a student.
Lamont Barrett, according to police, had inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old male student while working as a substitute teacher at the high school. Police say Barrett also showed the teen inappropriate videos involving sexual acts.
Barrett was arrested Wednesday at a secondary home in Lexington, SC. Officials say Barrett waived extradition and was returned to Mint Hill.
He is charged with seven felony counts of Indecent Liberties with a Student.
