Major southern cities wake up to rare snowfall
(CNN) — Much of the Southeastern U.S. is grappling with the effects of a major winter storm that blanketed the region, states largely unaccustomed to extreme cold and record-breaking snowfall– millions are digging out of driveways, navigating snowy commutes, and dealing with a slew of closures and travel delays. At least ten deaths are being blamed on the severe condition.
