Spurrier Glad To Be Back Home

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Steve Spurrier is happy to be back at home this week.
After losing its first game of the season, #13 USC (1-1) will kick off its SEC home opener 7 p.m. Saturday against Vanderbilt. The Gamecocks have a 12-game winning streak at Williams-Brice Stadium.
After Wednesday’s practice, the Ball Coach was asked if he or his players take pride in that home winning streak.
“I find it very interesting the last four years we’ve played Georgia they have scored 42 & 41 points in Athens, and they’ve scored 7 & 6 at Williams-Brice,” Spurrier said.
“Now don’t tell me the home field doesn’t have a lot to do with it.”
