COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can enjoy Free Fridays at Riverbanks Zoo.

Every Friday in January and February residents of Richland and Lexington County can receive free daytime admission.

You just need a proof of residency such as a driver’s license or a property tax statement.

 

ABC Columbia is hosting a ticket giveaway for the Vintage Market Days event this weekend.

You have a chance to win one of two family fun packs of 5 tickets each for the event which hits the State Fairgrounds this Friday, Jan. 31, through Sunday, Feb. 2.

The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics South Carolina.

The event is at the Beaver Den Polar Plunge on Sunday, February 16.

Registration begins at 2 p.m. and includes a costume contest.

All proceeds will be going to Special Olympics South Carolina.

 

Tickets are on sale now for the upcoming “Heroes and Villains Disney Costume” exhibit.

The showcase features more than 70 costumes from some beloved live-action characters such as Cinderella, Maleficent, Jack Sparrow, and more.

The exhibit opens on May 3 at the State Museum.
