Lexington Co. coroner identifies person who died after single-vehicle Chapin collision
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who died in a single-vehicle incident in the Chapin area of Lexington County, said the coroner’s office.
The collision happened on Friday, Jan. 31, in the 400 block of Westwoods Drive in the Chapin area of Lexington County.
According to Coroner Fisher, Christopher Lee Morris, 37, of Little Mountain was traveling westbound on Westwoods Drive when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, hit an embankment, and overturned.
Morris was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the collision.
