Local Living: “Jump Start Your Heart”, Cola Rosé Shower, Beaver Den Polar Plunge

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the City of Columbia is hosting its second “Jump Start Your Heart” day party this Saturday, on February 8.
It’s from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Drew Wellness Center on Walker Solomon Way.
There will be free health screenings, massages, giveaways and more.
It’s free to attend but you must register here.
The 4th annual Cola Rosé Shower starts this Saturday, Feb. 8, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Williams Brice Stadium.
Feminine hygiene product donations are collected to benefit women who are served at Sistercare and the Period Project.
There will be food, drinks, and live music from the Gamecock Women’s Basketball DJ Shejay T.O.
Tickets are $75 online and $85 at the door.
The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics South Carolina.
The event is at the Beaver Den Polar Plunge on Sunday, February 16.
Registration begins at 2 p.m. and includes a costume contest.
All proceeds will be going to the Special Olympics.
