Gov. McMaster files amicus brief in U.S. Supreme Court in lawsuit against Planned Parenthood
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– On Monday, Feb. 10, Governor Henry McMaster filed an amicus brief in the U.S. Supreme Court in a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood.
The case which stems from the Governor’s 2018 executive order which removed abortion clinics from the state’s medicaid provider list.
Medicaid does not pay for abortion except in cases when a pregnant woman’s life is at risk or the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest.
