Will Muschamp gives keys to beating Texas A&M

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks leave for College Station, Texas Friday, but that’s not too concerning. Two of USC’s three wins have come away from Williams-Brice Stadium.

But there are a few adjustments Muschamp wants to see Saturday, including in the red zone.

The Gamecocks currently rank 118th in the nation, converting 67-percent of their red zone opportunities into points. But the Head Gamecock thinks there’s more to those numbers.

“You look at turnover margin, and we’ve got to do a much better job in taking care of the football, and getting the ball off people,” said Muschamp Thursday night after Carolina Calls in the Vista.
