Teaching Fellows Program Begins

(WOLO) ROCKHILL, S.C., —

Calling All high school seniors who want to pursue a career in the education field. Sunday the application process for the Teaching Fellows Program began.

The program will more than a hundred high school student getting ready to graduate a chance at a fellowship that will help them pay their way through college.

Awarded fellows will get up to 24 thousand dollars in order to complete their degree to become a teacher in the state of South Carolina for as many years as they receive the fellowship.

Students will find out if they’ve been chosen by the spring.
