Camden Police warn residents about text message scam for unpaid toll bills

CAMDEN, S.C. (WOLO)– If you get a text saying you have unpaid tolls, don’t fall for it.

Camden Police say a there is a new scam in which the perpetrators send potential victims texts claiming they have unpaid tolls.

Police say toll agencies will not text you for payments.

If you get one of these messages, do not click on any links and delete it right away.
