Home Depot snaps losing streak

(CNN)– Home Depot has broken its long losing streak.

On Tues, Feb. 25, the company said sales at stores open at least a year grew 0.8% last quarter.

That ends 8 straight quarters of declining sales.

The company also gave an upbeat forecast for 2025 saying sales at stores open at least a year would grow by 1%.

It could be good news for more than just Home Depot.

The company is America’s largest home improvement retailer and is considered a bellwether of the U.S. housing market and economy.
