Spurrier Goes For History vs. Kentucky

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Steve Spurrier has a chance for another first with the Gamecocks. The Ball Coach will try to become the first Division I football coach with 20 wins against one opponent when #13 USC kicks off against Kentucky at 7:38 p.m.
Spurrier has a 19-1 all-time record against Kentucky, his only loss coming in 2010 when Randall Cobb led the Wildcats from behind to win 31-28.
Spurrier is 19-2 all-time against Vanderbilt.
The Gamecocks are also trying to extend their home winning streak to 14 games in a row with a win against Kentucky. USC’s 13-game home winning streak is currently the third longest in the country.
