CAE performs emergency training exercise

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Airplane and airport safety has been at the forefront recently with several incidents reported nationwide.

On Thursday, March 6, Columbia Metropolitan Airport took part in a full-scale emergency training exercise.

Other emergency response agencies and nearly 50 volunteers also took part in today’s training.

Airport officials say they conduct this training simulation every three years.
