Local Living: St. Pat’s Five Points Festival, St. Pawtrick’s Day O’doption, 59th Carolina Classic Home and Garden Show

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, get your little leprechauns ready because the St. Pat’s Five Points Festival is this Saturday, March 15, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 5k/10k and 1 mile family fun run starts at 7:30 a.m., and the festival starts at 10 a.m.

There will be a parade, live music, and plenty of activities for the whole family.

 

The Columbia Animal Services is hosting its St. Pawtrick’s Day O’doption special this month.

Adoption fees are waived for all pets in foster homes.

And for all other pets it’s $17 to adopt.

The shelter on Humane Lane is open Mondays through Fridays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

 

If you’re looking to spruce up your home for the Spring, you’re in luck.

The 59th Carolina Classic Home and Garden Show hits the state fairgrounds this weekend.

It’s from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Friday, March 14, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16.

There will be several vendors, live music, food trucks and more. It’s free to attend.
