Riverbanks Zoo gives preview of new Saluda Skyride
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A first look at the new Saluda Skyride was unveiled at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden on Thursday, March 13.
One of the 19 Skyride cabins was on display.
Each cabin will accommodate up to 8 passengers, including wheelchairs and strollers.
The full system which is set to open later this year will take 1600 guests per hour.
The transit system will connect the zoo to the Saluda River.
The Saluda Skyride is a key component of the “Bridge to the Wild” initiative which is designed to enhance visitor experience and contribute to the local economy.
