Ellington Injured, May Miss Tennessee Game

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Bruce Ellington is a late addition to the Gamecocks’ injury list after their 52-7 win at Arkansas.
At Tuesday’s weekly press conference, Steve Spurrier revealed USC’s leading receiver is in a walking boot and might not play this Saturday at Tennessee.
Ellington had six catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns in the first half against the Razorbacks. According to Spurrier, Ellington hurt the top of his foot at the end of the first half in Fayetteville.
The junior wide receiver from Moncks Corner, S.C. leads USC with 21 catches and 332 receiving yards this season and is tied for the team-high with three touchdown catches.
#11 USC (5-1, 3-1 SEC) plays at Tennessee (3-3, 0-2 SEC) this Saturday at noon on ESPN.
