NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Early Saturday morning, Newberry County deputies and South Carolina Highway Patrol got into a dangerous high speed chase.
Deputies say they attempted to pull over Fredrick Glasgow after receiving calls that he was driving erratically.
They say Glasgow ignored the sirens and attempted to flee getting on I-26 east in the west lanes.
Deputies attempted to pit Glasgow before he got on the highway due to the risk of on-coming traffic but were unsuccessful.
South Carolina Highway Patrol were able to deflate Glasgow’s tires and pit him.
Glasgow was arrested on several charges including being a habitual offender, and is being held at the Newberry County Detention Center.
