M.O.S.T. Outreach’s 4th Annual Cakie Scholarship Banquet this April
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A special scholarship banquet is going down in the Soda City this April.
M.O.S.T. Outreach Inc. is hosting its 4th Annual Cakie Scholarship Banquet starts Friday, April 4, @ 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Denny Terrace Center, 6429 Bishop Avenue in Columbia.
Curtis spoke with Saleemah Graham-Fleming, Founder of M.O.S.T. Outreach Inc., says the Cakie Scholarship sends at risk youth to the trade school of their choice on a full annual scholarship.
It was named in honor of her daughter, Sanaa A. Mahari, who was kidnapped and killed in 2021 at the age of 15.
Below are the eligibility requirements for the scholarship:
- Youth ages 16-19
- GED and/or High School Diploma
- Children in Juvenile Justice System, Teen Parents (male or female), or in DSS Systems
