GoFundMe started for teen fighting to save leg after vehicle collision

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Family and friends of a Midlands high school senior are asking for help making sure he walks again.

A GoFundMe has been started for JJ Haselbarth.

According to his family, JJ was on his way to work on February 20 when he was involved in a serious car accident.

Family members say he lost his right leg and will need to undergo many surgeries to save his left leg.

JJ is a senior at Lexington High School.
