(WOLO) – If you are planning on getting a real Christmas tree this year, you’d better hurry.

According to the National Christmas Tree Foundation, there are fewer trees to go around this year.

Farmers say it takes seven to ten years to grow a sellable tree. Seven years ago however, was the height of the great recession and farmers were growing fewer trees.
