Sumter Scam Alert

Sumter, SC (WOLO) — The Sumter Fire Department is warning you about a scam that’s circulating.
Chief Karl Ford says someone is posing as a member of the Department and soliciting donations.

Chief Ford says they do not ask for donations over the phone and if you get one of these calls to call the Sumter Fire Department or the Police Department.
