Baggage claim updates happening at CAE

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Happening on Monday, March 24, the Columbia Metropolitan Airport says new construction will have a slight impact on passengers leaving the baggage claim area.

It’s phase one of a three phase curb reconfiguration project aimed at improving the overall pick-up process by making the curb-front extend the entire length of the terminal.

Airport officials say “Lot-A” will be closed during construction, however safety officers will be directing traffic.
