Live Nation reaches $20 million deal

(CNN)– Live Nation has settled a $20 million lawsuit around its alleged anti-trust practices.

Important to note is that this suit was not filed by customers, venues or investigatorsM but rather it was filed by investors in 2023.

They claimed the Ticketmaster parent company lied to them about its vulnerability to anti-trust complaints.

The plaintiffs argued the company should have warned them it was likely to face scrutiny and fines.

Live Nation said no legitimate complaint could be made due to competition from Stubhub, Seat Geek and Vivid.
